Question
Hi. I have a 99 Chrysler 300M. I an trying to refill the freon, but I do not know which valve I have to use. Is it the little one next to the dipstck ir the bigger one

Hi Martha,
The smaller port, also called the low side connector, is where you would insert the refrigerant. Ideally, you would have accessory valve/connector hose kit that mates the can to the system which allows you to make the refill and it would have the necessary connector that fits to the low side port. You should be using R-134a rather than 'freon' which was the earlier refrigerant (also known a R-12).
