Question
Hi Roland.  I'm trying to remove the alternator from my '98 2.5L V6 Sebring convertible.  There are 2 cables attached to it.  I got the "B+ Terminal" cable off by removing the small plastic cover over it and using a 10mm open end wrench.  The other cable is called "field circuit" in the manual.  I don't want to break it.  Do I just pull it out, do I need to push the connector to loosen it, or does it come off some other way?  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Bill,
The manual simply says 'unplug'. If there is a tab on the edge of the plug you would lift that gently to release the plug. Otherwise simply pull on the plug, not the wire.
