Question
Hi have 2001 chrysler seabring 2 door coupe and the window is stuck in down position I tried new switch and I am trying to remove motor but the cables 2 of them attached to white plastic to the motor how do you disconnect them from the motor if I can unattach them I could pull the motor to get checked ty bill

Answer
Hi Bill,
I checked the '00 manual and from what I can see the wires are attached to the motor so you would have to remove the motor with the wires attached to it and then disconnect the wires at their far ends. If that won't work then the entire mechanism has to come out. Have you tried disconnecting the harness for the motor at the other end (near the front of the door) and apply 12v to the wires at that plug? Test both polarities. I can xerox and send a couple of pages about removing the mechanism if it gets to that.
