Chrysler Repair/'06 300M: cylinder 2 misfiring

Question
I saw your answer about this problem for a 199 300 M. I have a 2006 300. Does the same advice apply. Also, if I purchase the Haynes Manual for this car, would I be able to do it myself? I am handy around the house and not the slowest person around :-).  Finally, is Haynes and Chilton good manuals. Haynes is the only one I can find in the stores ASAP.  thanks so much for your time.

Answer
Hi Van,
Yes, the troubleshoot for model years would be similar, but without seeing the earlier answer I can't be sure. The '06 shop manual I have has identical 9 page descriptions, one for each cylinder with the specific wiring for each shown. There are also possible causes that seem to be focussed toward all cylinders, but I would begin with those items that are relevant only to the specific parts of cylinder #2 if that is the only one that is setting a code.
I can copy the pages from the CD and attach them to an email which I will send to you. But I need to know your email, which I don't routinely have access to. So send me a 'private' follow-up question wherein you list your email.
Do the actions that are within your capability. Generally I like the Haynes manuals more that the Chiltons.
