Question
I have a 2008 Chrysler 300. My radio/CD player suddenly went into "mute" mode and I do not know how to "unmute" it. Nothing in the manual. I do not use Uconnect. Thanks for your help!!

Answer
Hi Michael.
It turns out that the radio too has self-diagnositic capability. If you  get a fault code readout via a socket under the dash you might find that there is a code that will give you a clue as to what is wrong. It would a 4-digit number preceded by a B. You can often get a free readout via a socket that is under the dash. An Autozone will often do that for free, or a private shop might charge $40 for the code readout. Get the number and let me know.
