Chrysler Repair/speed sensor location

Question
I have a 1994 Plymouth voyager 3.0L 6 cylinder (Canada model) and am trying to locate the speed sensor on the transmission. Can you tell me where it is?

Answer
Hi Ynnis,
There are two speed sensors: an input (turbine part of torque converter) and an output (measures velocity of the vehicle) sensor. They are both on the side of the transmission facing the front of the van, they look similar and they are about midway in height. The input is located immediately above the box like area and directly below the two hoses that go toward the radiator. The output is located at the very far end of the transmission. Each has a plug which has a lift-to-release tab, and then you unscrew the sensor. Tighten it back in place to about 20 foot-pounds of torque about the same as a spark plug. Notice any gaskets/dust caps upon removal and be sure to reuse those if needed.
