Question
My 2002 Chrysler Concorde Engine blew (3.5L),  now looking to get another one.  Will a 99 Concorde engine fit or is there too much of a difference in the models??

Hi Amanda,
My suggestion would be to go to a Chrysler dealer and ask at the parts counter what their understanding is about any changes between '99 and '02 that would cause non-compatibility. If they see none, then that would be reasonable to use as a basis to go forward with the '99. There may be differences between the total engine packages (all the electrical itens) associated with the different years, but so long as you substitute the basic mechanicals/engine block itself and not also everything electrically connected to the '99, but rather usq all the electrical connections from the '02 that go to the engine then it should work. But do speak to parts counter person.
