Question
I am trying to replace the clutch cable.
There is a dust cover at the transmission end of the cable.
How do I remove it.  I don't want to ruin it but I don't see any screws or clips thats keeping it in place.

Answer
Hi Robert,
There is a clutch cable 'inspection cover' but the manual just says to remove it, without giving any details. I suspect it just has some 'tangs' or ears which will flex enough to let it pop up but I don't know for sure. Just try prying gently on the outer edge would be my suggestion. Have you gotten to the other end of the cable yet? It is more complicated to remove and I can't easily describe it because there are drawings as well which aid. I can xerox copy and postal mail you those pages, so if you want them send me a follow-up question tellimg me your address.
