Question
unplug negative or positive wire to reset senors
where are senors located for oil/gas send pictures pls

Answer
Hi Lorene,
What type of oil sensor and what type of gas sensor are you asking about? Do you mean the oil pressure sensor and do you mean the fuel tank amount of gas sensor? While you didn't say the year/make/model/body style so I can't be specific, the oil sensor is generally mounted on the engine block right next to the oil filter, while the fuel tank level 'sender' is located inside the fuel tank. The oil pressure sensor had a single wire, while the fuel tank sender has two wires, one being a negative (ground) wire and the other the 'signal' wire. We typically don't speak of resetting these sensors as they aren't typically 'reset' in the common use of that term. Please tell me more about why you are asking this question (what is wrong?) and the specifics of the vehicle.
