I am trying to fix the sliding door lock on my 01 caravan, it is manual and seems to get jammed and the only way to get the door open is to remove the panel and push the door release with a flat head screw driver. once the door opens the issue seems to resolve itself and all is well for a few hours or so.. then the same issue re-appears I would appreciate any advice..

Hi Hani,
The manual about the sliding door cover 17 pages, but there are 3 pages that describe adjustments which may be helpful. I can copy those from a CD and attach them to an email.
If you then identify a specific part that is faulty I can also send you a description on how to remove that for repair/replacement. So if you want the three pages please ask me a new question in which you simply enter your email address in the question space. Then check the box for 'Keep question private" and send the question. If you don't make it private then the address is erased. I have to ask for the address because the experts don't see that part of the question process, only the site sees and uses it.
