Question
I am not getting any spark to plugs. Mechanic here says it is bad computer. Can a bad computer cause distributor to not fire?
It could, but that would not be my highest priority. It could be a bad sensor. You might be able to do a fault code readout yourself or the mechanic can, and in either case tell me the fault code number. That would either corroborate his diagnosis or alter it. Also, what is the year/model/engine size (L)?
