Chrysler Repair/2002 Dodge Stratus blend door actuator

Question
QUESTION: Symptom:  No heat.

I removed the old blend door actuator and installed a new, turned the temp control knob and observed the gear moving.  I thought, great !!  I've found the problem.  However, now, the new blend door actuator is no longer rotating when I move the temp control knob.  What else could it be?  I get heat now by moving the actuator cam by hand.

I put in a new control unit about a year ago because the mode was haywire and swapped out the current control with one from another Stratus.

ANSWER: Hi Joe,
I would check to see if the door is rotating easily or might instead be binding up mechanically. You could also verify the wiring of the 5 wires. Let me know if you have a volt-ohm meter and can give you the connections.

QUESTION: I do have a volt-ohm meter and was thinking if I had the wiring diagram I could check the voltage or resistance levels at the outputs.

I would appreciate if you could send the wiring information.

ANSWER: I can attach the wiring diagram to an email which I will send to you directly. To do that you must tell me your email address as I don't see it routinely via the Allexpert procedure. So send one more follow-up question only this time click on the box to make it PRIVATE and then in the question box area state what is your email address.

Answer
Joe,
As you can see,
that email address didn't get through to me because it was not a PRIVATE question.  So on Friday morning, when I will be available, ask a New question and make that Private and then I will have your address to send the wiring diagrams attached to in an email.
Roland
PS Thank you for the nomination and the very kind remarks.
