Chrysler Repair/2005 Sebring fuse blowing

Question
2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertible 2.7L V6

The fuse that controls the ignition switch has now blown for the second time in three months. Nothing that I can find tells me what size fuse should be in that slot, but there WAS a fifteen amp fuse there, so I replaced it with a 20. Is this dangerous? Also, what do you suppose is causing them to blow?
Thanks!

Answer
on the fuse box cover will be the size amp fuse that is suppose to go in there     the higher amp fuse u put in there  the more amps go through a  wire that is only allowed a certain amount  so things start to get hot and melt when U do that.3

As for what causing it  get a wire diagram and see all of whats on that fuse and go from there.
