Question
My transmission is in limp mode. Where should i start.

Go to an Autozone or similar nationwide autoparts store (call first), where they may do free fault code readouts via a reader that plugs into a socket under the dash by the steering column. Ask for the 4-digit codes, what they mean, what they recommend doing. Then let me know the codes and we'll compare notes with what the manual says. If you can't find a free readout then an independent shop would do it for under $40.
The fault code system will usually give a good idea of what is wrong.
