Chrysler Repair/99 CHRYSLER LHS: stalls out

Question
Roland,

Tried moving the relays.  Car died again.  It died at 65 mph today.  I did remember that this is only happening to me, within 1.5 to 2 miles from my home.  I start the car and take off, living in the country, driving 3/10th of a mile on my driveway then onto hwy.  It only happens from that point and no other. So cold start and drive? Drove 30 miles to town , shopped and returned, and did not happen again. So it is the initial start up of the day.

Answer
Hi Kimberly,
I think you need to get that code readout, ideally for free. You could try using the ignition switch:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if the mileage is replaced by any 4 digit numbers preceded by a P. Let me know. If that doesn't work, then try a parts store for free. There should be a clue in there which will get this resolved.
