QUESTION: Sorry I had thought I was logged into a previouly asked question of a different year same type vehicle.  Working on 2008 PT Cruiser. All 4 window switches located in/under the center console bazel/cover. This cover doesn't have a seperate removable panel for the window switches. Switches just above the radio.  That is where there seems to be one more location with clip/retainer holding cover in place. Do not want to pull or pry to hard and damage cover. May also be held in place at the top edge.  Thanks Again

Hi Craig,
The '07 manual (the latest I have) doesn't show the locations of the fasteners but they are all released by means of a soft pry stick which implies they are all on the edge of the bezel with none in the center. Given all the wires and ducts and contros that are attached to the devices mounted in the center benzel I would not doubt that the impression is given that there is such a fastener, but I don't believe there is. So gently lever it outward and observe through the edge as you go. The accessory switch panel is held to the center bezel by a couple of screws that you will find once you have center bezel removed.
The manual does suggest that you disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for 2 minutes before doing anything with the bezel so as to discharge the capacitor associated with the air bag system.
Observe how tha harnesses/ducts are connected to the devices and how located so you can get it back installed more easily.
