Church & State Issues/Turn the Radio off!

Question
Hi,
I was listening to my radio which of course was tuned to a local Christian station. An employee came into the office and asked that I turn it off because he didn't want to hear speak of Christianity. I turned it off of course but my question is is this something that I'm legally obligated to do?

Answer
The First Amendment guarantees your right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

The only one who can prohibit you from listening to the radio is your employer who has the right to make up his own rules about radios.  But even he would be violating the law if he only prohibits Christian radio and allows other programs to be played.

The secret hatred of those who hate Christ and His followers is not as secret as it used to be.

2 Cor 2:14-16

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. 15 For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.
