Answer
Hi Mike,

I always seek to give Bible answers whenever possible and will do my best to do so here as well. I thank you for choosing me to answer your question as well.

Having said that, there is not one passage in the New Testament that speaks of mixing races as a bad or sinful thing. But the Israelite nation was commanded not to marry foreign women or allow their daughters to marry foreign men.

Deut.7:1-4
1 When Jehovah thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and shall cast out many nations before thee, the Hittite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; 2 and when Jehovah thy God shall deliver them up before thee, and thou shalt smite them; then thou shalt utterly destroy them: thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them; 3 neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. 4 For he will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of Jehovah be kindled against you, and he will destroy thee quickly.

Yet the real concern was a spiritual one. In verse 4, it is clear that having a spouse who is not of the same faith will cause them to turn away from following God. There was a need to keep the nation of Israel pure to a degree in order that God's promise to Abraham would be fulfilled by Christ Jesus being his direct descendant. However, in the New Testament, we see that in Christianity, there is neither Jew nor Greek (or gentile).

Rom.10:12  For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him:

Consider this as well. We all came from Adam and Eve so we are all connected. ALSO, most of the world is mixed race. I look white and most would call me "Caucasian" but I have some American Indian blood in me. I also have Scotch. Irish, German, and Norman blood in me. I do not see any scriptural evidence that shows mixed race or marriages to be sinful or not pleasing to God.

I hope my answer is helpful to you and if you have any follow-up questions or new questions all together I am more than happy to help.
