Question Hello Brother,
I read your profile and saw your face I am very proud to have a young brother who has set his face toward heaven and kept his journey as you have.
three of my five sons,Harold is 23,Marquis is 15, Michael is 14 they was baptized at 11, 12,& 13 and happy about it then, but now being indoctrinated by outside influences of the ghetto, Drugs, unbelievers, Muslims and sex. the 23 y/old is married his wife is a babe in Christ he has stopped fellowshipping altogether and is being held by marijuana's addiction. I need help answering questions concerning; King James, how can we trust the bible? (another man made book). they seem angry asking why can't I see or hear him. we need Prayer HELP, Beverly of PA.
AnswerThankyou for your question Beverly
I can understand your sons being baptized and in church at a young age because I was like that (I was baptized into Christ at age 9). I know how those bad influences can effect a young person in Christ you constantly have to try to avoid all these temptations with that element of peer pressure, curiousity, manhood, and rebellion all in the mix. The only way I was able to avoid them was faith in Christ. Now concerning King James, we have to have faith in those matters. I have faith that he had the bible translated into English because that is how God choose it to be. If the original texts in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek were not eventually translated into other languages, how then would we read God's Word? So, yes God choose men to write His words down and translate them, but it is not a man-made book in that is was not conceived be man, God just used men to bring about His purpose. Now, we can't see or hear God in the way we would another human being because God is spirit (John 4:24). He does not choose to reveal himself like that, he chooses to reveal himself through His word. To know God we must know His word, have faith in it, and live by it. I hope I have said something here that will help your spirit, your family, your sons, and your faith. As you requested I will pray you for all and especially that God will keep and bless your sons, have a blessed day.
