Have you watched the documentary "The lost gospels". If so, what is your stand?
I have seen parts of the documentary "The Lost Gospels". I have also read things about these supposed lost gospels in magazines and on the Internet. I even studied the book of Judas. Yet, I have not seen anything in them that convinces me these books are indeed divinely inspired gospels. They do not read like any of the Bible does and they have many contradictions in them. The book of Judas not only contradicts what we KNOW to be the Word of God, but it even contradicts itself. This is a sure sign that the writings are not divinely inspired scripture.
My take is that I am fully convinced that God was involved in preserving ALL of His Word to guide us in His Way. I actually go further in believing that the Received Text is the text that is the most reliable. God would not allow His Word to be lost for even a year let alone centuries.

I can answer questions regarding acceptable worship, organization of the church, or any apsect of the Christian life. Experience
I am the 4th generation in my family to be a faithful member of the church of Christ. I was raised by a preacher and have studied the Bible everyday since I was twelve. I am 45 yrs old now. I am not a "scholar", but I am very familiar with the scriptures.

member of the church of Christ, served as a Deacon for a few years at LakeShore church of Christ in Waco, Tx. I currently live in the North Dallas area and am still very active within the church of Christ teaching, leading Bible Studies, and songleading as well.
