Question So what exactly do you think happens to Christians instead of the 7 years of tribulation?
Answer According to Acts 24:15, 1 Thess. 4, and 1 Cor 15 Christ will return in the clouds with a heralding shout as the archangel. There will be a resurrection of the just and the unjust. Judgment will happen. Faithful Christians will be changed into incorruptible bodies for eternity. Dead Christians who were faithful in life will rise to meet Jesus in the air, then the living Christians who are faithful at that time will rise and they will all go to Heaven. Then the unjust will be cast into eternal damnation, eternal separation from God, eternal darkness. Then the universe will simply cease to be.
When Jesus returns there will be no warning, no third chance (your second chance is salvation through obedience to the gospel after you sin), no do-overs. This life, this now is it. We must be pure now and be ready for that return always because we don't know when it will be.
