Question
QUESTION: Well isn't the Holy Spirit the same too?

ANSWER: The Holy Spirit is God, in the sense of being divine or part of the Godhead, but is a distinct person from the Father and Son.  Just as your soul is a distinct part of you compared to your body.

QUESTION: Okay but which One lives in Christians?

Answer
In a literal sense, none of them today.

According to John 14:23, if we obey the Word of God, then the Father and Son dwell in us.  The Holy Spirit dwells in us in the same way (Rom. 8:9-11).  But how?

Do you have a favorite grandparent that you knew but that is dead now?  I do.  Pawpaw, my grandfather, lives in me.  Not in the literal sense.  His spirit is not haunting my body! *lol*  But through what I learned from him and the good memories I have of him, he lives on in me.

In the same way, if we live by the teachings from God the Father taught by the Son and inspired to be written down by the Holy Spirit, then they dwell in us in the same way.  All three of them! :D
