Question
I concur that we were not commanded to play music in the church and certainly its not a Heaven or Hell answer, but how can we dismiss 2chr 5:13,23:13,7:6,30:21 1Sam 18:6,11 Sam18:6 1chr 15:16,Psalms 68:25,87:7,150:3-5,Eccl 2:8,Isa 38:20? God bless beloved

  With reference to music in the church, we can dismiss Old Testament passages because they were not intended to be guidelines to the church.  In the new testament we follow the apostles doctrine simply because it is intended solely for the church and how the church should function.  The reason we do anything in the church is that we have the authority of God to do so, it is also the reason we don't use the old testament as a guide for the church.
