About Onaga Thomas
Expertise
I am a member of the Park East Church of Christ in Denver, CO. I can answer any questions any people out there have regarding the Churches of Christ. Whether it be about our history, services, spirituallity or why we believe in only one church. Write me with any concerns you have about the Church of Christ and I will do my best to answer them

Experience
I was born and raised in the Church of Christ and was baptized at age 10. With the help of my mother and father, brothers and sisters of the church, christian friends etc...I have a profound knowledge of the truth about the Word of God. I am strong in my beliefs and convictions and will answer anyones questions with scriptual knowledge and fact. I want to boldly proclaim the true Word of God according to Bible principal instead of what I think or what someone has told me.

Question
Sir, our church held "hope sunday" on May 17. we had aresource center set up to let the public know we care about them. Most all were members of the church that work there. We had a quartet that are members but from out of state, which sang in a tent. all this was after services. Another local church (of christ)slamed our preacher on their radio program saying we had no authority to do so. Who is wrong? Are we not to serve the communoty?

Answer
Thankyou for your question Ralph

Certainly there is nothing wrong with trying to serve the community and letting the community know that you care for them.  I can not see where you are wrong is this incident and why a preacher would do something like that to his family in Christ on a radio station.   Sometimes even when you do good, someone is there to critize it.  Doctinally and scripturally there is nothing wrong with Christians making an effort to help and teach other's about Christ in their communities.  God bless and keep doing what you are doing.
