Question
Dear Brother in Christ,
In Icor 15:24-26 the bible says that Christ will reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. My quetion is whom does this word enemies referred to. In other words whom are all his enemies.
"THE LAST ENEMY TO BE DESTROYED IS DEATH" Which death does it refers to? - Spiritual or Physical

Answer
Praywin,

Thanks for your questions.  They are great!

The enemies of Christ are Satan, his followers, and the tools that he uses to destroy men spiritually.  His followers include: those who acknowledge God but reject Him; those who claim to follow God, but in reality follow the doctrines of men (denominations); those who have the capacity to follow God but do not do so out of ignorance and are lost in sin.

The death referred to here I believe is physical death.  Christ defeated spiritual death by dying on the cross.  Now, any who obey the gospel plan of salvation can be reborn into new life by the blood of Jesus.  At the end of time when the Resurrection occurs, those who are dead but lived faithfully to God in life, will be made physically alive again to die no more.  That is why Jesus Christ is called the firstborn of the dead.  He was the first to die and be resurrected never to die again.  Others have been resurrected, even before Christ, but they all died again.

In Truth and Love,
