Churches Of Christ/BAPTISM

Question
I  was  wondering if  the CHURCH OF CHRIST
believe in sprinkling if someone was in the hospital or was in an area where there was not
enough water to emmerse.

Answer
Thankyou for your question Robert

The Church of Christ believes in total immersion in water for baptism because that is what the word actually means and it has biblical reference (Acts. 8:32-40).  If there were ever someone who recognized they needed baptism, most times it would be done at the church if humanly possible.  If not, it would have to be a place with enough water, bath-tub, pool,...etc, a place with enough water for an immersion.  Members of the church would hopefully never compromise the scpritures because it seemed "less stressful" to sprinkle, we would have to do what is right at all times.  God Bless

Experience

I was born and raised in the Church of Christ and was baptized at age 10. With the help of my mother and father, brothers and sisters of the church, christian friends etc...I have a profound knowledge of the truth about the Word of God. I am strong in my beliefs and convictions and will answer anyones questions with scriptual knowledge and fact. I want to boldly proclaim the true Word of God according to Bible principal instead of what I think or what someone has told me.
