What are the first principles for Christians today? and where can I find them? (Book, chapter and verse)

 By first principles I take that to mean what Christians have to do, say, act, live, or respond to please God.  Obviously you have to find them in the New Testament. I would start with the writings of Paul to the churches (Romans-Thessalonians), in these writing to those early churches, Paul lays the ground-work for Christianity.  You will read topics on how to live, how to treat other believers, style of worship, praying, teaching, spiritual gifts, money, and all other that pertain to Christianity.  I would recommend them to all Christians because these book essentially tell us how we are to become if we intend to mature in our Christianity.  God Bless
