Churches Of Christ/Holy Ghost

Question
What do you believe when it comes to the holy ghost?

Answer
I believe the Holy Ghost to be the third person of the Godhead who was sent on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, just as Jesus told the apostles.  He told them the Holy Spirit would come to be the Comforter and to also convict the world of sin.  He also told them one of the main reasons for the Holy Spirit coming would be to remind them of all that Jesus had taught and told them...which led to their writing of the scriptures being inspired of God.  Jesus had done all that was prophesied of him and went back to be at the right hand of God.  But he told the apostles that we would be with them until the end..not physically but spiritually and that is the Holy Ghost, it is God telling us He is still with us in this world.  The holy spirit still convicts of sin, changes people's mind and hearts, lives within us and helps us remember God's Word.  He is God's ultimate helper, the Holy Ghost is God

God Bless

Experience

I was born and raised in the Church of Christ and was baptized at age 10. With the help of my mother and father, brothers and sisters of the church, christian friends etc...I have a profound knowledge of the truth about the Word of God. I am strong in my beliefs and convictions and will answer anyones questions with scriptual knowledge and fact. I want to boldly proclaim the true Word of God according to Bible principal instead of what I think or what someone has told me.
