Question
Do the church of chirst use the name of Jesus when baptisin or do they use in the name of the father, son, and holy ghost.  Do you believe and preach Acts 2:38 as your baptismal formula just curious.

Thanks,
Dustin

Answer
thankyou for your question Dustin

In the COC we used acts 2:38 as our instruction on how to baptized people.  So we baptized people in the name of Jesus.  I have also heard baptisms in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost when someone gets baptized.  It is just at my church where I attend they used Acts 2:38, if I were to personally baptized someone, I would use Acts 2:38.

Experience

I was born and raised in the Church of Christ and was baptized at age 10. With the help of my mother and father, brothers and sisters of the church, christian friends etc...I have a profound knowledge of the truth about the Word of God. I am strong in my beliefs and convictions and will answer anyones questions with scriptual knowledge and fact. I want to boldly proclaim the true Word of God according to Bible principal instead of what I think or what someone has told me.
