I have been a member of Church of Christ 35 years. I Love the Lord with all my heart. I am swaying from believing that the Church of Christ is the only church that you will be saved.  There are so many other churchs that have similar beliefs.  I am often confronted by my friends that it is very arrogant of members of C of C to think they are the only church that GOD recognized.

 I have often thought of this question as well to myself "is the Church of Christ the only church that God will recognize?" I think about all the other people in the demoninational churches and whether they worship God in vain.  I do believe members of the COC are thought of as arrogant christians because of their beliefs.  But, if our beliefs are in accordance to God's word, they are true, not arrogant.  One thing that has really gotten to me about God is that he is inclusive in his will, but exclusive in his commands.  Example, the Bible says that it is God's will for all men to be saved, but you can only be saved if you follow God's way to be saved.  The world want to fashion its own God, one that is tolerant of everybody, accepts everbody's faith and religion, and saved all those who just believe in Him.  But if you submit yourself to God and follow Him as His word directs, you will find that God always had one special people (Jews of the old testement, Christians in the new), one way to salvation (Jesus) and ONE church (that would be the Church found in the Bible, and of course the Church of Christ is Romans 16:16.  I just pray that everyone submits their wills to the Lord and worships Him in the only church he died for instead of just choosing any church or religion to worship Him.  Keep being a soul-winner and strong Christian Laura, and pray that your friends will submit their whole will to God.
