Cigars/seasoning a new humidor

What is the best way to season a new humidor? I have read conflicting articles regarding wiping down with a damp cloth and using seasoning packs. If I use a seasoning pack, how many do I need for a 300 ct humidor?

Either method is perfectly fine. I personally prefer to spray and wipe down the humidor because it's a faster and more thorough seasoning method but using seasoning packs also works. I know a few people that have used seasoning packs before and they never experienced any problems or negative humidor performance.
Also, one seasoning pack should be enough to season your humidor but some brands vary by size so you will need to check with the package to see what the maximum, acceptable humidor dimensions - if any - are per pack.

I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking.
