HI BILL
SO I BOUGHT A FEW BOXES FROM SOLOCIGARS OUT OF COSTARICA. DO YOU HAVE ANY COMENTS FROM OTHERS ABOUT THERE CO. IS IT TRUE THEY WERE OUT OF PANAMA FOR YEARS AND ARE KNOWN AS CONTERFITERS OF CUBAN CIGARS. HOW DO I FIND OUT IF THEY ARE LISTED IN THE HAVANA OFFICAL DIST. LIST. AND IN YOUR OPINION HOW DO YOU STAND ON THAT CO. IN YOUR YEARS AS AN EXPERT. THANKS JAY

Sorry, but I've never heard of Solo Cigars. As my profile states I am not a Cuban cigar expert - I manufacture and sell cigars in the U.S. and don't get involved with Cuban cigars at all since the are illegal to import in to this country. If you have questions about cigars [not cigar dealers] I'll be happy to try to help, but this is out of my area of expertise.

I'm a fourth generation cigar maker and have spent 25+ years operating our factory as well as a mail order cigar company. I belong to cigar manufacturers associations as well as retail cigar associations so I'm usually up to date with current events relating to cigars. Since I live in the U.S. I have very little experience with Cuban cigars, but other than that I know a least a little bit about almost every brand of cigars on the market.
