Cigars/Markers Mark cigars

Question
I recently sampled some Makers Mark Cigars and I loved them, However at over $10 per cigar, I'd like to find something a little more affordable to fit my budget.  Are there any comparable bourbon-seasoned cigars that are less expensive than the Makers Mark that you would recommend?

Answer
Ray,
Maker's Mark cigars are unique in that they are "seasoned" with bourbon, they do not have bourbon or bourbon flavor/aroma sprayed directly on the tobacco like most flavored cigars do. Instead, the filler used in Maker's Mark is allowed to rest in a conditioning room with real Makers Mark bourbon and the leaves slowly absorb the flavor and aroma. Unfortunately, there are no similar cigars in a lower price range. We sell Maker's Mark in boxes of 25 cigars, 10 cigars and 3 cigars with the price being right around $8 per cigar. That'll save you 20% from what you paid for the cigar you smoked, but is still a little pricey. Wish I had an alternative for you but there really is nothing else like them. If you'd like to order, the cigars are listed on our site at www.finckcigarcompany.com

Expertise

I'm a fourth generation cigar maker and have spent 25+ years operating our factory as well as a mail order cigar company. I belong to cigar manufacturers associations as well as retail cigar associations so I'm usually up to date with current events relating to cigars. I've smoked the majority of brands on the market and would be happy to share my opinions of them with you. Since I live in the U.S. I have very little experience with Cuban cigars, but other than that I know a least a little bit about almost every brand of cigars on the market.

Experience

In addition to growing up in and now managing our cigar factory for 25+ years, I've spent time in many factories in Honduras, Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic and Mexico. BR>
