Question
I have purchased a glass top humidor. If I place my humidifier in the bottom center of the humidor and placed dividers on each side, would this affect the function of the humidifier.
Hi David,
No, placing your humidification device at the bottom of your humidor (centered) will not affect humidor performance. In fact, for glass-top humidors and humidors with an unconventional lid design, it's recommended that you keep the humidifier at the base of the humidor and centered because the symmetrical location provides an even distribution of humidity and airflow throughout the humidor. Keeping your humidification device at the side or in a corner may cause aeration problems; especially if the humidification unit is obstructed by cigars, dividers and/or storage compartments.
Keeping your humidification device in the bottom center is perfectly fine.
