Question
I just bought a two stick Cigar Caddy yesterday  and I was wondering, because the 2-stick humidor does not have a humidor system, do I need to add PG fluid or anything else to keep my cigars ready for a day on the golf course?

Hi Addison,

No, you don't need to add any humidification device, PG or water to your cigar caddy.  The cigar caddy you purchased is designed to carry cigars that you intend to smoke that day.  It's not a long-term humidor meant to preserve your cigars for a long period of time.  The cigar caddy is like a rugged version of a regular leather cigar case; only carry the cigars you want to smoke that day and they should be fine.  If you let your cigars sit in the cigar caddy for more than 2-3 days, they will become dry.

I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
