Cigars/Barrington House Intl. Jamaican cigars

Dear James,
I happened to see in one of the cigar mags Barrington House cigar co. that specializes in Jamaican cigars. It said that for the European market their brands feature Jamaican cigar tobacco with a Cuban wrapper and with Cuban tobacco. I know that one of the brand's name is "Montalvo." I called their company based in New York and they said Brigham Enterprises is one of the distributors for the European market. Needless to say, I am VERY curious about this cigar combination and also very needless to say - I have been combing the net and cannot find anybody who has this Barrington Brand cigar combo of cuban and jamaican cigar tobacco. I am hoping greatly that you may be able to put me on the track to find this cigar brand. Might you know anyone who has had a chance to sample it and has given their observation of it? Hi Janet,
I myself have not tried this brand as I have not seen it in stores yet but as soon as I try one, I'll let you know. (I'll just add a follow-up to this email discussion and you'll be re-notified by email.) The combination of tobacco does sound interesting so I'm interested in trying some.

I currently have 19 dedicated years of cigar smoking and counting. I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
