Question I recently hosted a party where my guests and I had cigars. The following day, I noticed that an extinguished, partially smoked cigar was placed in my humidor and now my humidor smells like an ashtray. Will this effect the flavor of my other cigars and can I get the smell out of my humidor?
Answer Yes it will ruin your other cigars.
Take all the cigars out and put them in a plastic bag they will be good there for a few weeks while you smoke them.
Smoke them or throw them away?
Wipe down the box with Isopropyl Alcohol and throw away the Humidity device and get a new one.
Leave it open a few days to air out and the final thing is, if the smell is not completely gone, put a bowl of baking soda in there for a few days.
Buy new, cigars start over.
