Cigars/Cohiba Maduros

Question
I have aquired a few Geinos from a friend's boss who brought back a box,(not sure from where, assumming Cuba) I noticed that the bands are two piece, being the black band seperates from the Cohiba band. I noticed this on one, the others I didn't try to pull apart, is this the way they are manufactured? Thanks for your time James.
Hi Grant,
If I recall correctly, the Maduro 5 band is one piece. However, I'm not sure if Habanos recently made changes to the band and made it a two-piece like the Edicion Limitadas. To confirm this, it's best to contact Habanos directly. You can reach them through their website at www.habanos.com.

I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
