Question
I have a Coleman thermoelectric cooler, that i hardly ever use, can I make a humidor out of it, and if so do i have to remove the  electrical parts or can i use those to keep it cool and if so how do i regulate the temp so that it will not get to cold it gets down to about 40 deg but only after running for several hours, i have never checked the humidity level in it

Answer
You have to get the temperature to 65 degrees.  If you have good cigars and want to keep them fresh get a real humidor please.
Refrigeration is not always necessary but if you want a real one go to Vigilant as they are the best. Or you are still safer with just a table top humidor without refrigeration. Get one and if there is a problem I will help you fix it up as most do not come adequately humidified.
