Question
I just recently bought a Cigar Caddy 3540 box. I also bought the Cigar Caddy Humidor fluid. I was wondering after adding a couple drops to the humidifier, will the box ready to go right then or will it need time to cure while closed. I was also wondering how often i should add the drops. The box does not have a hygrometer and i have always used humi-bags in the past so this is all new too me.
Thanks!

Answer
Scott please read my revised answer again I am here to help...

I have sold 1,000s of Cigar Caddy's with a Boveda in them and the customers all agree that this works with NO effort. You do not have to put water in every few days and you do not have to open the box to air it out. I have 2 Caddy's I keep cigars in all the time just to see for fun how long they will actually last without changing taste. 1-3540 has cigars in it from July of last year with 1-69% Boveda and they are perfect. I just checked it (before I wrote this 4/5/09) and it is ready for a new Boveda after 8 months. I have many soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan that extol the virtues of Cigar Caddy with the Boveda even in extreme conditions.
The Boveda is Albert Einstein meet cigars. If he had a Cigar Caddy this is what he would invent for the case - but it was already invented by another genius.

The Boveda device is used by the most respected names in the industry like Arturo Fuente are the Science of cigar care and the only humidification to be used in a sealed edifice.

The box will be perfect with a Boveda 72% or 69% in the box and this will keep the cigars safe and perfect, closed and sealed for up to 10 months. The cost is $4 retail at your local tobacconist.

Thanks again for reading this, now look deep into my words and say after me...
