Question
I have two small (100 cap) humidors in which I'm using gel crystals and distilled water, but humidity seems to hang at 50 - 60%, never reaching the preferred 70%.  What am I doing wrong?

Answer
Are the Gel crystals on the bottom of the humidor or hanging?
You have a digital hygro?

Hanging humidity is the best as moisture falls.
The humidity bars with sponge like foam work for me. Use Propylene glycol for set up and every 6 months.

In the configuration you have put 2 Boveda 72% packs in each humidor right on top of the cigars to bring up humidity and keep it perfect.
I sold at least 50 packs to regular customers just on Sunday as they all depend on this pillow to keep everything perfect in their humidors.
