Cigars/Question about uniformity of cigar cases etc

Hi James,
I recently got some more Romeo Y Julieta no2's, and saw something different. For the peice of wood they include in the tube, all the ones ive had before had a dark wood colour, however the new ones I just bought have a very light wood colour
I had never seen this before and was wondering if things like this are always the same, or if it changes from time to time based on the batches. The colour difference is quite significant.

A colour difference in the cigar tube lining is pretty common. The wood used for the lining is cedar and can vary in colour depending on how old the wood was, what part of the wood is used, when the wood was acquired, etc.
The colour difference is purely cosmetic and won't affect your cigars in any way.
