Cigars/cigar wrappers

Question
Should you leave the wrappers on your cigars in the humidor or take them off

Answer
25 years ago I began my experimentation with humidors.
I noticed immediately the difference in the wrapped and unwrapped cigars - The unwrapped cigars are prone to damage, they are more likely to split, crack, unravel and develope mold.
I have smoked cigars from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s... they are all unusual but the one characteristic that makes them different is that cigars in wrappers are in perfect shape the naked ones are messed up.

Aging- I have aged cigars for decades and the cigars in wrappers are great. The cigars without wrappers, if kept in their original box untouched, are great also.

Just the facts please
