Question
I am new to this and got a humidor for my birthday, in my excitement I filled it with many fine cigars.  well now I'm reading about seasoning your humidor and if you don't what can happen to your sticks.

I did everything else and have a PG filled crystal thing in there with a digital hydrometer.  It hasn't gone above 55% in two days. I want to know if I should pull my bundle and season or leave then in there and let it balance.

new to the game....but love it

Answer
Seasoning depends on the size of the humidor in relation to the humidification and the quality and thickness of the wood.
So I need to know a lot more.
Do you have a digital that is accurate or round analog hygrometer that is inaccurate to several percent?
Is your crystal humidity device velcroed or magnetized on the lid or sitting on the base of the humidor?

But one method is to just put water in weekly till the humidor stabilizes then go to the monthly schedule. In conjunction with your humidity beads beef up humidity and spread it by getting the Boveda devices I usually suggest and put them right on top of the cigars, 72% is the most popular.
