Cigars/Humidor heat

Question
Sir, I have a large Aristocrat  humidor that is insulated and conditioned. I have filled it with cigars in the last 6 months. Humidity is 70%  and temp. is around 71 deg. Location of humidor this winter has it with surrounding air temp. at64 to 66 degrees. My cooler continues to run to keep temp stable at 70 . Are the cigars giving off heat as they mature or is something else going on. Thank you for your knowledge and time, Thomas Fisher

Answer
I have never seen the cigars aging affect the temperature that much.

First, is the Digital hygrometer reading correctly?
But in a well sealed cabinet humidor the electric humidity control motor is warming the cabinet slightly.

Enjoy
Mike
