Cigars/Need a flint spring for a Nimrod Sportsman Pipe Lighter

Hi ... I stumbled upon this website by doing a Google search. My disabled husband collects lighters and has been unable to get his Nimrod Sportsman lighter up and running. He says he needs a new flint spring. Is there a place on the Internet where we can purchase this spare part, or a place to which we can send the lighter for repair? Thank you!

These lighters are cheap on Ebay $10 or less.
Buy one or more and use the parts to fix his other beloved lighter and this is the cheapest way to fix the problem.
You could send it to a repair guy and pay $30 to fix it with shipping and other stuff...

| Comment | Thanks for the really quick reply! We are frequent buyers of items on eBay -- heck, this is probably where he acquired the lighter in the first place! When I mentioned your response, he did say that this had already occurred to him; however, I think he was hoping that you would give him a heads-up on a place where he can buy spare parts for his lighters in the future. I would concede that you're almost certainly correct in that it would be cheaper to cannibalize an old lighter in poor to fair condition than to pay the S&H both aways to have his good lighter fixed.
