Hello James,
Is there any place in Niagara Falls (Canadian side) where we can buy genuine Cuban cigars?
My budget is around US $20-40, not sure if I can buy box of any brand within this range; could you suggest what would be available for this price range or any other combinations/variety that I can go for?

Hi Jack,

$20-$40 won't be enough to buy a box of Cuban but you can always pick up a few singles for that price.  For cigars, I would like to recommend both Partagas Mille Fleur and Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleur.  They're about $8 a cigar so you can pick up a few of them.  You can also try the less-expensive Cuban brands such as Guantanamera, Jose Piedra, Fonseca and Rafael Gonzalez.

In regards to stores, I recommend Gordon's Cigars and Pipes... fantastic shop.  Here's the address:

I currently have 19 dedicated years of cigar smoking and counting. I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
