Question
Hi, I was just wondering. I recently got the Cigar Oasis Ultra, I reseasoned it with this device (wiped down my humidor with some distilled water, and left the sponge soaked with distilled water in the humidor also with the cigar oasis on). I kept it like this over night and into the afternoon, so about 18-19 hours, I came back and it was reading a steady 80% humidity. So I took out the sponge, and squeezed it out, (there was still plenty of water left in the sponge) took everything else out except the unit, shut the lid and it was still staying at a stable high 70's. So, I opened it back after a little bit, threw my cigars in there and now it dropped back down of course since it was opened...It turned on, went to the set humidity of 71% and turns off. I noticed it takes about avg of 10 mins for it to turn back on right when it hits about 69% humidity...So basically it's been going off every 10 mins or so....is that normal? It says to wait a couple days for the humidity to stabalize, so I am guessing it is normal....Just want to make sure it's functioning correctly, thankyou :)

Answer
Humidity doesn't have to be exact. Over the long term it just need to be an average around 70%,
don't stress over the small fluctuations.
The customers that have these units just put them in and turn them on and I have never heard a complaint.
