I have a Model 2 Barcroft Tabletop Zippo lighter in very good condition. All original parts and patent number and research indicated lighter is from 1947-1949 as i have found that the model 2 was only produced for 2 years. It has a relatives initials engraved on the front but still works perfectly. I have had a lot of trouble being able to even get an approximate value, including searching on ebay. This appears to not be a very common item. Can you help with even a ballpark estimate on value?

I have seen many of these lighters but it depends on the day and the buyer.
Start it at $200 and see where it goes.
Pictures are of importance the better the more you might get.
You've got to prove the date with the pictures of the bottom, hinges, insert - top and side.

If I can see the pictures perhaps I can help better date the lighter and the insert has to match up also for the best value.
