QUESTION: Can you tell me if Cohiba Esplendidos from 2008 were ever available in 50-count humidor-type boxes?
ANSWER: They do make some limited edition boxes with odd counts like 50 or 60 or even 90 count.
Where did you get it and how much was it?

QUESTION: Hi MJ,
Thanks for your quick response. I haven' seen the box yet. My friend tells me they were purchased in Cuba and are factory sealed. He said he paid around $1,200.00, about $25.00 per stick, which seemed a little low to me, but if they were really purchased in Cuba I thought the price may be legit.

See if you like them, the problem is there are some tight ones in the Cohiba and that is not OK with me. $25 for a tight cigar even 1 in 10 is not good. We lit up 5 in a group and 3 were tight.
Try Padron Anniversary as that is my favorite.
Exclusivo and Diplomatico Maduro are the best I ever smoked $15 to $20 a stick you will see a tight one - NEVER.

Given the track record of many Cubans , I have found myself saying a prayer before lighting one with the hope that I will enjoy half of it. Still, it is the unique flavor that keeps us coming back for more. I also appreciated your comments about Padron Anniversary cigars.
